A colorful composition of bold yellow brushstrokes and thinner brushstrokes of grays and browns delineating areas of blues, oranges and greens. Areas of whites and pinks push in from the sides. In an effort to break out of my usual approach to composition, I started this painting out with the calligraphic marks that "lean", much like the leaning of cursive writing.
